1951 Fender Esquire - Serial: 0920

I Found this amazing guitar, serial number 0920, advertised as a “1954” refinished Esquire. But When I looked at the pictures I noticed it wasn’t at all a 1954 made guitar. It had the original “thermometer case”, the “early Fender Golden Logo”, Ashtray cover with the inner solder, early serial number, and all the specs as per a very early model. The body had a thick white paint on it but all was there.

When I got It I discovered a January 1951 “T.G.” neck code, that Makes this one quite a special guitar for itself.

My dear friend Carson Hess, who is the ultimate Telecaster Wizard, restored the finish on neck, body and pickguard, while the original finish on the front of the headstock, altogether with the rare "golden" decal, and the original pencil marks with neck date and "ESQ" indication has been saved.

The guitar Has a very nice "3D" Flame Neck, very difficult to photograph since it changes with light, paired to a Lightweight 2 Pieces offset Swamp Ash body, with nice wide grain pattern. It still retains all its original parts, the wiring is pristine and sounds absolutely amazing.
